About Tang

My approach to wellbeing combines traditional wisdom with modern lifestyle practices, focusing on prevention, balance, and personal growth. I believe that every individual has unique needs, and that wellbeing should be simple, accessible, and sustainable. Through TANG WELLNESS, I provide bespoke wellbeing planning and treatments designed to support harmony between the body, mind, and emotions through a holistic and personalised approach.

Tang's Wellbeing Journey

2017–2018

Earned a Diploma in Tea Artistry, specialising in Zen Tea Meditation, and has maintained meditation as a regular personal practice ever since.

2019–2020

Undertook in-depth studies of Eastern philosophy and mindfulness. As part of this journey, Tang translated Tao Te Ching(2019) and Zen: The Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng's Teachings (2020) from Chinese into English. Both e-books are available on Amazon Kindle.

2021

Achieved personal fitness goals by completing both the 40th Great North Run and the Kielder Marathon.

2022

Completed a Diploma L3 in Personal Training and Nutrition, qualifying as a personalised fitness and wellness coach.

2018–2024

Explored art as a pathway to healing and self-expression, developing skills in oil painting, sketching, and watercolour painting.

2018–Present

Participated in a variety of retreats at Buddhist and Daoist practice centres across China, Japan, and the United Kingdom, exploring diverse meditation traditions, techniques, and levels of practice.

2025

Completed a Floristry Course at East Durham College and began incorporating floral arrangement as a creative and therapeutic wellbeing practice.

June 2025

Following years of study, practice, and personal exploration, TANG WELLNESS was established as a holistic wellbeing service with support from Northumberland Small Business Support.

May 2026

Completed Acupuncture and Moxibustion training course at the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, expanding TANG WELLNESS's therapy offerings.

Through continuous learning and practice, I aim to develop and refine holistic wellbeing solutions that support long-term health and resilience. I am dedicated to sharing TANG WELLNESS—a creative, open-minded, simplified, and continually evolving approach to wellbeing—with communities across North East England.
